I am writing with appreciation to thank and acknowledge the exceptional service we received from David Yin. After a lack of attention from the Richmond Auto Mall Volkswagen branch, we came to Clarkdale Volkswagen and had a wonderful experience with your staff. We have been eyeing the Tiguan for quite some time and were excited to hear the new 2012 model was launching this month. We understand that stock is limited and scarce in Canada, but we are incredibly grateful David was able to find us a Tiguan within such short time. Given that we were also very particular about add ons such as changing to custom wheels and tinting windows; we were very impressed with David's abilities in quickly solving all the problems and managing these changes efficiently. His efforts were evident while we watched him pace back and forth from the manager's office to the parts department and back towards us. His constant verbal updates and followups through the phone were also greatly appreciated. His competence is definitely noted and it cannot be denied that he is an asset to the team. Lastly, the car was ready on the day of my birthday, and I cannot be more happy that our new Tiguan is ready to go. All this would not have been achieved without the help of David, Christina and your staff here in Clarkdale.

Michal Morley, Christina Duncan, Chris Field and the rest of the crew at Clarkdale VW were true professionals and were awesome to deal with. Michal and Chris were friendly, informative and above all patient with our questions and repeated test drives and really made sure everything was perfect before we decided to commit to a new CC. Christina made working out the details and finishing the paperwork a real treat, and we can't say enough about the overall level of service we received at the dealership. David Yin was pleasant to deal with as he is honest and professional. The process to acquire our new 2012 Touareg was a painless one and David took the time to explain all the features once it arrived. What makes David and Clarkdale different from the rest is their post-sales service. They were accommodating to not only lend us a loaner car during servicing but once done, David drove our car back to the workplace to make the swap. Great experience, thanks David and Clarkdale.

The first thing you need to know is that I began my car search with more than a little reluctance. For the past five years I have been a happy Modo car co-op member, cyclist, walker and transit user. That said, my new job required a car and so I was thrown into the market for a car and needed to make my purchase in a matter of days. I began my search at a number of used car dealers and found the whole process deflating and defeating. None of the salesmen I encountered did anything to subvert the stereotypical image most of us hold of used car salesmen. At one lot, I turned the ignition of a used Golf and it let out a squelch as if a cat was getting strangled by the fan belt. "Oh, there's nothing wrong," the salesman insisted, "every Golf sounds like that." Later , before trying to leave, he said, "If you take the car, we'll fix that starter for you." "But," I said, "you told me there was nothing wrong...never mind." I left a dozen of these places with knots in my stomach and a question in my head--is there anyone in the used car world with an ounce of integrity? Yes! Not only does David Yin at Clarkdale have integrity, he also has competence, friendliness, trustworthiness, patience, a great sense of humour and a passion for going the extra mile for his customers. This guy shatters the stereotype of a car salesman! David was very understanding, accepting of all questions, and very thorough in his explanation of everything. His commitment to customer satisfaction is beyond anything I've ever encountered from any sales person in any field. He provided me with his cell phone number and invited me to call him at anytime--"even at 2am! I work Asian hours," he joked. Incredible! And he wasn't joking. When I took delivery of the car, he was sure to call me the next day and ask how I liked it and how my wife and children liked it. A day later when I texted him with a minor question about the audio system, he immediately called and said that he'd gladly drive out to show me how to use it. His telephone explanation did the trick but can you imagine someone offering to drive across town to show me how to use the Aux-in feature? Amazing! Everyone at Clarkdale was fantastic, but none more so than David Yin. Be sure to ask for his service. You will not be disappointed! Thanks David!

I have been leasing with Clarkdale for many years and would recommend the team their to anyone. The service department also deserve a good mention, I have been servicing my car there for the last four years and will continue to do so for many years to come.

Michal was a fantastic sales rep. I had done my research via Clarkdale's online inventory of pre-owned cars to find the one I wanted. Going into the dealership I knew exactly which car I wanted to check out.

Michal was prompt to greet me and within minutes we were on the lot checking out the car. During the test drive, I knew right away I wanted the car, so I chatted with Michal and was upfront about my worry that with my credit issues I had in my early 20s I may have trouble securing financing. Even with this hurdle, she did not lose enthusiasm or interest in selling the car to me. She was very professional and courteous regarding the issues and reassured me that herself and the dealership would do everything they could to get me into the car. This positive attitude and genuine desire to help make it work, was a huge positive for me - right off the bat.

Once we got back to the dealership, she briefed Cyndy Stone in the finance department and asked her to do what she could to make things work.

Cyndy was another person on the Clarkdale Volkswagen team who was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Even with the challenges I had, she did everything she could to not only secure the financing I needed but also was able to get a great interest rate on the car. She was friendly, accommodating and explained step-by-step how we were going to make it work.

Thanks to the great work by these two individuals and the rest of the Clarkdale team I worked with, I was on my way in my new VW that day. Couldn't have been happier.

Was one of the best car shopping experiences I've ever had and I will certainly be back when its time to buy a new car.

Absolutely top-notch staff and service.

I have owned a 2 VW in the past, and after my husband crashed my Jetta TDI, which was from Clarkdale too, I came in just to browse at the new Golf Wagon. I was extremely impressed with Adhams' knowledge of the cars & the diesel engines. I know my cars, and this was the first time that the Sales guy knew more than I did. Being a woman, the sales guys always assume I don't know much and can be condescending, but this was not the case. I still shopped around to VW in Surrey & Richmond, but came back to Clarkdale cuz I trusted & respected Adham's knowledge & because I had had great service with my past Jetta. I came in for a test drive with Lucas and he was great, that I ended up buying the car that day. Thanks you Lucas, Adham & Christina. You were all awesome!

Sara from the get go had so much information about the vehicle i was interested in. When we went for the test drive she answered everything i asked honestly. Allowed me to do everything i wanted to accomplish on the test drive. She got me to the payment that i could afford which was my biggest thing coming in. Her passion for vehicles shows in her work ethic. Thanks again Sara

I was very happy with our deal.We made the deal over the internet and the telephone,once we had reached an agreement over the phone I was told that that was the deal.I was a little worried about going to the dealer (WE live on Van. Island),and was assured that we would not browbeaten and ground up for more money.We caught the early fairy and were at the dealers buy 9:00 o clock we left the dealers at 10:00 o clock,with are new car and had a very good purchasing experience.Probably the best car buying experience I have ever had.They kept everything very simple and kept there word and I would recommend them to anybody.Thanks Clarkdale for everything.p.s.also wanted to say thanks to Sara for all her help.R&C

Adam Niblock was extremely knowledgeable about VW and did not pressure me at all I visited a number of car dealerships and he was by far the best sales person I dealt with! I would highly recommend Adam as a sales consultant to anyone interested in a VW! Very professional individual!!!
